Part of a scenic 860 acre estate in the heart of the Southern Drakensberg, the course offers beautiful scenery and crisp mountain air – and is a perfect escape from the hum drum of the office. This 18 Hole Par 72 Golf Course plays 5559m (Club) and 5738m (Championship). The front 9 of the course offers 1x Par 3, 7x Par 4 and 1x Par 5 with a total distance of 2856m (Club) and 2927m (Championship). The back 9 of the course offers 3x Par3, 3x Par 4, and 3x Par 5 with a total distance of 2703m (Club) and 2811m (Championship).
The course is challenging but fair and is ideal for all golfers – from seasoned professionals to first timers.
But remember to book fast as this is going to be a corporate golfing event to remember and you certainly don’t want to miss out.
We have two packages from which to choose. The first is R3000 per person (shared accommodation) and the second, R3600 (single accommodation). Both packages include 2 nights’ accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis, 2 dinners (buffet and gala / prize giving), 2 green fees, 2 halfway house vouchers, shared use of a golf cart for two days, goodie bags for all players, prize giving as well as a golf shirt. There are also great prizes up for grabs for participants, including holidays.
Partners are also welcome at the Gooderson Drakensberg Gardens Golf and Spa Resort Corporate Challenge. Spouses pay just R1940 which includes two nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast as well as access to the Wellness Centre. When it comes to children under the age of 12, we charge a pro rata rate and include discounted meals. For those brands looking for sponsorship opportunities there are few opportunities available.
