South Africa’s most popular parenting podcast, Parent + Baby Brunch, this week launches its app. The step forward makes it even easier for parents from all walks of life to access the helpful information and tips shared on the regular podcast.

With recent topics ranging from gut health for toddlers, anxiety in mothers, and autism in children, the popular podcasts and videos have been helping parents and parents-to-be for almost eight years.

Created and presented by Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp, Parent + Baby Brunch was started when the award-winning broadcaster was pregnant with her first child:

“The concept was born shortly after I had my first daughter”, says Elana.  “I created the Parent + Baby Brunch community after experiencing first-hand what mothers and fathers of newborn children were experiencing. I was on a whatsapp group with my just-turned-parent girlfriends at 2am, everyone complaining about anything from sore nipples to back-aches. I knew there weren’t sufficient support groups out there, and so I started this as a way to help other parents.”

With more than 100 podcasts under the belt, fans can now access previous episodes as well as all the latest content from the Baby Brunch app. Available now on Apple and Google app stores with zero subscriber cost.
