General crime operation in Pretoria North results in eleven arrests
A joint operation between Moot Saps and Fidelity ADT Pretoria North in collaboration with other security companies and community policing forums in the area is making a positive impact on driving down crime.
On Friday 16 February from 18:00 to 06:00 on 17 February, the teams conducted a stop and search operation in the Pretoria Moot area. 11 suspects were apprehended and arrested for numerous crimes, including drug dealing and the possession of stolen goods. There were suspects apprehended for driving under the influence.
Charnel Hattingh, Group Head of Marketing & Communications for Fidelity ADT says, “We believe that by working closely with SAPS and other security providers we can show a united force that sends a clear message to criminals that crime will not go unnoticed. We will continue to participate in the joint operations going forward,” concludes Hattingh.
