Globe-trotting Nomcebo Zikode prepares for her World Tour!

Johannesburg, 08 August 2024 – The ball does not stop rolling for Nomcebo Zikode, as she continues filling up her passport! The Grammy Winner showcases her power in Women’s Month by continually announcing a series of International performances she is set to do this year.

“Starting with the Democratic Republic of Congo and the United States of America, I am very excited to be out there pushing my new music to the world!” – she explains. “I am currently getting myself mentally and physically ready for all the shows we have planned to do, and I am currently in the gym, toning and increasing my stamina so that I can cope with what is to come” – she further states.

Headlining a festival such as Festigola, and an esteemed ceremony such as the Glamour Music Awards Afterparty, Nomcebo expresses gratitude for still being part of the global conversation. “It has been a few years of me travelling, and I feel so blessed to still be able to do so through my talent”.

To accommodate her global escapades, Nomcebo is also working on new “global” music. “I have an exciting release coming very soon, with one artist from West Africa, and the other from East Africa. This song excites me because it is a first-of-its-kind, in that you could never imagine who the collaborators are!” – she affirms.

Nomcebo also believes it is important to share positive outcomes as a black woman in the entertainment industry because the industry is generally more difficult to navigate as a female. “We are all we have, and we should actually support each other.” In conjunction to this, Nomcebo positions Women’s Month as a commemorative period to spread messages of positivity. Her recent “Artist of The Year” nomination at the coming Basadi In Music Awards ceremony further highlights her endless pursuit of excellence, while she acknowledges and celebrates all the women who have been nominated by the organization. This intends to be one of her last appearances in South Africa, as she will consequently jet off to fly the flag in foreign lands.
