Johannesburg, July 25th, 2024 – As the world gears up for the Olympic Games, Corona Cero is set to elevate the viewing experiences across South Africa. From July 26 to August 11, 2024, friends, fans and sports enthusiasts are invited to relax, unwind, and cheer on their favorite Olympic athletes in an electrifying atmosphere, with Golden Hour Sessions and the Corona Cero Golden Viewing Oasis.
As the first-ever global beer sponsor of the Olympic Games, Corona Cero’s Golden Hour Sessions & the Corona Cero Golden Viewing Oasis is about slowing down and unwinding with friends to celebrate the Olympic spirit of unity, golden moments, and making dreams come true. The venues serve as the ideal location to share a laugh, have fun and celebrate the Olympic Games.
Golden Hour Sessions (Watch Parties)
The Golden Hour Sessions will be held at prime locations nationwide, including popular venues like Hudsons – The Burger Joint in Kloof Street, Cape Town; Fiamma Grill, Ballito; Sky Deck in Central, Potchefstroom; Malt Montecasino (Fourways, Johannesburg) as well as The Balcony in Hazelwood, Pretoria. Each location will offer a unique blend of Olympic excitement and Corona Cero’s commitment to unwinding.
Corona Cero Golden Viewing Oasis
In addition to the watch parties, Corona Cero is establishing a Golden Viewing Oasis, located at Loftus Park. This venue will offer an immersive Olympic experience, including an installed beach viewing area, lifestyle attractions like a designated bar area, food hut, medal count board, massage chairs and photo opportunities to fun field games such as volleyball, lawn bowling, and more. Entrance will be free, with identification required to enter the bar area.
Highlights to be expected at these fan events include a Daily “Golden Moment Ritual” just before sunset, celebrating each day’s Olympic achievements, special promotions and exciting giveaways. Weekends will include activations featuring gold body paint, massages, team games, and Polaroid picture opportunities as well as live music with sunset DJs or bands at select locations.
Golden Hour Sessions and Corona Cero Golden Viewing Oasis details are as follows:
Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 19:00
Saturday to Sunday from 11:00 to 21:00
A special Sunset Moment from 17:00 to 18:00 daily.
