KōL Izakhaya is the culmination of a project of passion by brothers Alexis and Viron Christopher (who you may know as the previous owners of Willoughby & Co.) KōL brings a unique interpretation of curated Japanese street food to life through the work of Executive Chef, Katsuhiko Miyamoto, his team, and the rich experiences of the Christopher siblings in all thing’s seafood and Japanese. KōL offers an elegant yet casual dining experience with the highly energised Robata Grill at its epicentre, inspired by the Izakaya street culture of Japan where vibrant, informal Japanese taverns serve drinks along with small, delectable dishes sharing style. This new addition to the Hyde Park Corner offering is equally suited to casual after-work gatherings, or a lingering, lively social occasion KōL looks forward to hosting patrons for power lunches, special occasions or just daily sushi fixes at the ice-clad sushi bar and it’s gorgeous living-wall backdrop.
