Hyprop brings the magic of Disney to South Africa this Festive Season

Supporting children’s dreams one plush toy at a time

This December, Hyprop Malls across South Africa have transformed into magical destinations with Disney Charity Trees in association with FNB, PEP and Toys R Us, offering families the opportunity to celebrate the festive season while giving back to those in need. The initiative, in partnership with Reach for a Dream, aims to bring joy and fulfil dreams for children facing life-threatening illnesses.

The Disney Charity Trees, adorned with enchanting plush toys and sparkling gold swirls, offer a chance for shoppers to participate in a meaningful cause. By donating R50 at the tree, visitors contribute to fulfilling children’s dreams while being entered into a lucky draw for one of four R5,000 PEP vouchers.

Christie Stanbridge, Hyprop’s Brand and Campaigns Marketing Manager, expressed her excitement about the initiative: “The Disney Charity Trees bring together the festive spirit of joy and generosity. We are proud to partner with Disney Africa and Reach for a Dream to help children create memories that last a lifetime. This campaign is made possible with the support of PEP, FNB, and Toys R Us, who have generously sponsored the plush toys. For every Disney plush toy purchased at Toys R Us during the campaign, R5 will be donated to Reach for a Dream, further amplifying the impact of this meaningful initiative.
