LÁN VAN STADEN’S MUSIC VIDEO FOR ONTLAAI HAS JUST BEEN RELEASED!
ONTLAAI (unwind), Ilán van Staden’s latest single, was written by Johan Vorster and David de Villiers. It has just been released on 3 February 2023 and is already spreading like wildfire. And now, the music video for this hit is here!
The video was filmed at Lubeksdal Lodge and was directed by Johan Vorster. David de Villiers, Dirk van Niekerk and Johan Vorster produced the video. Ilán, his Father (Michael), friends Revan Luus, CJ Woller and Zian Roux, all feature in this brand new video!
“It is a positive feel-good track, about how everyone needs to unwind sometimes,” he explains. “Sometimes you are under so much pressure that it becomes too much. This is when you need to stop, catch your breath and do what you love – like hunting, fishing and relaxing around the campfire. It is every man’s duty to guide his family, and I hope that this song will inspire everyone who hears it. ONTLAAI inspires unity and addresses issues that men often wonder, pray and talk about,” says Ilán.
Currently he is busy with physical training for his lead role in the upcoming musical, Die Kaplyn, about the border war. In addition to these preparations, he is also in the process of finalising his debut album and busy managing his own music school, Ilán’s Music Academy, which he started five years ago. Furthermore, he is also performing as much as possible and plans on touring the country during the course of the year.
