THE 9th ANNUAL SIMON SABELA KZN FILM & TELEVISION AWARDS has reopened the call for
“IN MEMORIAM”

The KwaZulu-Natal Film Commission, an entity of the Department of Economic Development and Tourism and custodian of the Simon “Mabhunu” Sabela KZN Film & Television Awards would like to extend a call to the South African Film and Television industry to submit names of our dearly departed practitioners who passed between August 2020 to date.
This call is to get all the relevant names that will be honoured in the awards’ In Memoriam section.
The Simon Sabela KZN Film & Television Awards will be paying special tribute and honouring fallen heroes and heroines for their contribution in the film and television industry.
Please submit the full name and surname and a preferred high-resolution image of the deceased.
The awards will be held on Saturday 23rd of July 2022.
Open for submission: Wednesday 13th of July 2022
Closing for submission: Wednesday 18th of July 2022
All submissions must be emailed to NoluthandoS@kznfilm.co.za by the 18th of July 2022.
