The Duchess of Cambridge was taken to St Mary’s Hospital ahead of the royal birth and has now given birth to a daughter.
The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton has given birth to a baby girl, Kensington Palace has confirmed the baby was born at 8.34am, the new princess was born at St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington weighing 8lbs 3oz. She went into labour this morning, after an announcement was emailed to the Press at 6.37am then tweeted two minutes later. The new Royal is fourth in line to the throne, knocking uncle Harry down to fifth.
