Jacaranda FM’s Good Morning Angels Helps Labrador’s Life-Saving Surgery Becomes A Reality
Johannesburg, 12 October 2022 For seven-year-old Labrador Turbo, a life-saving surgery will become a reality after Jacaranda FM’s Good Morning Angels revealed on air that they would be donating the R15 000 needed for the operation.
Turbo is 16-year old Luzé’s best friend, companion and emotional support animal. The dog has been a part of Luzé’s life since she was 11-years old and helped her through her parents’ divorce and the fact that Luzé’s dad is no longer part of her life.
Earlier this year, Luzé and her mom Karen noticed that Turbo had started limping and a vet visit confirmed that Turbo was in great pain due to a problem with one of his legs. The vet explained that Turbo would need to undergo surgery at a cost of R15 000 while following a special diet while in treatment as well.
Unfortunately, the cost has is too great for Luzé and Karen who reached out to Jacaranda FM’s Good Morning Angels for help.
After sharing Turbo’s devastating story on air, Martin Bester shared that the GMA Fund will assist Karen and Luzé with the R15 000 needed for Turbo’s treatment.
Additionally, Bob Martin has come on board to assist Karen and Luzé with food and other necessities to look after their beloved Turbo and keep him healthy and happy. The brand shared that they will assist this family for a full year to the value of R12 000!
