Sailing on the success of the three established branches, Durban’s favourite seafood and sushi destination, Jack Salmon, has just opened its fourth branch in the City’s freshly rejuvenated Florida Road. This much-loved local eatery has dropped anchor at a beautifully restored provincial heritage site, identified as a national monument.

The double-storey Natal Edwardian verandah house, which is over a century old, is where historical architectural period piece meets contemporary curation, with Jack’s signature nautical décor touches and crisp white linens.

The City can now enjoy the same spectacular Jack Salmon-style ocean-inspired global cuisine that the suburbs delight in, including dishes such as Jack’s famous su’nut, as well as the Hawaiian-influenced poké bowls of fresh fish and a rainbow of accompaniments, or the Greek Island style fire-grilled seafood mezze, and an array of trend-setting sushi, plus so much more. There’s a menu full of sea treasure!

Enjoy an intimate lunch or dinner indoors beneath the chandeliers or grab a table outside, on the wrap-around verandah and take in the balmy Durban days and nights, while dining on the ocean’s bounty, done Jack’s way. For private functions and events, reserve the expansive area upstairs and enjoy a separate VIP experience tailored for you and your guests. For bookings please contact 031-521 0250 or find them at 295 Florida Rd, Berea.
