JESSE CLEGG UNLEASHES NEW INDIE POP ANTHEM WITH LATEST SINGLE “HURRICANE”
Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter, Jesse Clegg is back with his highly-anticipated new single, Hurricane, introducing a new chapter in his musical journey. An upbeat indie-pop anthem, Hurricane showcases Clegg’s remarkable ability to blend personal storytelling into his music. “Hurricane is about embracing the storms we face in life and finding strength in our ability to overcome them,” says Clegg. “It’s a song about resilience, about standing firm in the face of adversity and knowing that, no matter what, we have the power within ourselves to navigate through it.”

But wait, there’s more! Hurricane is co-written and produced by American music star Nick Petricca from Walk The Moon (Shut Up and Dance hit #4 on the Billboard Hot 100).
In addition, the music video to Hurricane includes a feature by the Jeppe Girls Choir, from Jeppe Girls High School in Johannesburg. “Working with eighty talented choir members from the school brings moments of gospel-inspired harmony. They bring amazing energy to the Hurricane music video and I loved every minute of working with them” says Clegg.
It’s been over a year since Jesse Clegg’s previous release, Called To Hear Your Voice landed on some of the biggest charts across South Africa. “I’ve been traveling to work with some of the best writers and producers in the world. I love these new singles and will release them in the months to come, starting with Hurricane on 30 August”.
Later this year Jesse Clegg travels back to the US for a once-off headline performance at the iconic Carnegie Hall in New York City.
