[full]Justin Bieber is suspected of hurling more than a dozen raw eggs at the home of his neighbor, whom he’s had previous disputes with.

Justin Bieber was at his ritzy roost before and after he allegedly egged his neighbor and easily could have hatched the attack, a source with knowledge of the Biebs’ own surveillance video told the Daily News Monday.
“The video gave the evidence (detectives) were looking for,” the source said. “There was nothing on the video to suggest it didn’t occur or that it was someone else.”
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office is now reviewing the case and can file it as either a felony or a misdemeanor or reject it outright.
A DA spokeswoman declined to comment Monday on a timeline for the decision.
“I believe the video bolsters our case. It allows us to move forward with what we believed this was all along – a deliberate act directed against a known neighbor,” Lt. David Thompson with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told The News.
“We believe this meets the standard of a felony based on the witness statements and the surveillance video,” he said. “Kids do egg places, but usually it’s random. This was a neighbor he had a dispute with. It’s pretty clear-cut to me.”[/full]

[full]Bieber, 19, is suspected of hurling more than a dozen raw eggs at his estranged neighbor’s house on Jan. 9, causing an estimated $20,000 in damage to the mansion’s pricey plaster and imported wood exterior.
Thompson previously told The News that Bieber likely had to leave his own property to get close enough for the alleged egg assault. That means detectives never expected his security system to yield a recording of the actual incident, he said.
Indeed, Bieber’s surveillance system did not catch him launching eggs into the air, unidentified sources confirmed to TMZ.com.
“In a perfect world, if you’re looking to have a slam dunk case, it would show the egging. But what I’ve expected all along is that it didn’t capture the actual egg throwing. This type of surveillance system wouldn’t have cameras pointed that far over to the neighbor’s house,” Thompson told The News two weeks ago.
The DA’s office asked cops to go back for more investigation after an early meeting over the surveillance footage contents, Thompson said.
“They wanted us to interview more people. They asked us to track down other people who were at the house. But they’re (Bieber’s) people. They didn’t want to talk,” he said.[/full]

The neighbor’s video, obtained by TMZ, doesn’t show Bieber in the darkness but captures an off-camera voice that sounds like the Canadian crooner.
“F—k you! I got another one for you actually,” the voice, identified as the “Baby” singer by the neighbor, yells.
A dozen sheriff’s deputies raided Bieber’s notorious party palace in Calabasas, Calif., on Jan. 14 with a felony search warrant related to the case.
They saw at least one marijuana bong in plain view, a source told The News, and arrested Bieber’s sidekick Xavier “Lil Za” Smith, 20, for drugs.
Prosecutors filed formal charges Jan. 31 for felony possession of Ecstasy, felony possession of Oxycodone and felony vandalism of a jail phone.

Smith could get up to three years in jail for each offense if convicted.
Bieber’s legal woes shifted into high gear Jan. 23 when he was pulled over in a loaner Lamborghini in Miami Beach and taken into custody for resisting arrest.
Cops say he was drag racing on a sleepy residential street and “miserably” failed his sobriety tests with a combination of marijuana, alcohol and Xanax in his system.
The heartthrob was handcuffed after cussing out cops with multiple F-bombs, a police report said.
He has pleaded not guilty in anticipation of his formal arraignment Friday.
He’s also facing a third criminal case up in cold country after cops booked him Jan. 29 for allegedly assaulting a limo driver in December.
“We anticipate that this matter will be treated as a summary offense, the equivalent of a misdemeanor in the United States,” Bieber’s lawyer Howard Weitzman said in statement about the Toronto case. “Our position is that Mr. Bieber is innocent.”[/full]
