Kaizer Chiefs are in the process of suing controversial businessman DJ Sbu after he used their name and that of three of the club’s senior players to promote his drink.
Last week, Mafaya reportedly got 3 Kaizer Chiefs players fined for posing with Sbu’s MoFaya energy drink while dressed in club colours. Controversial businessman DJ Sbu angered the Chief’s marketing manager by tweeting that his drink is been supported by the club.
According to Sunday World, Chief’s marketing manager confirmed fining the guilty players and also that the club had taken legal action against DJ Sbu.
“His blunder was that he apparently tweeted the club was supporting the drink and the players were using it”.
