The 38-year-old rapper’s eagerly anticipated LP started off life as Swish and then changed to Waves, while another name in contention was So Help Me God but he has now settled on The Life of Pablo.

He didn’t explain the meaning behind the title, but Billboard are reporting that it’s likely a reference to Pablo Picasso, someone Kanye often refers himself to, while others say it could refer to famed drug cartel leader Pablo Escobar.

The dad-of-two- also revealed the final line-up of songs for the record, and his track with Kendrick Lamar was noticeably missing.

He tweeted: “Final track list for The Life of Pablo” and included a handwritten list of songs.

The track list included Ultra Light Beam, Famous, Fade, Real Friends and Wolves, but not the song that he worked on with fellow rapper Kendrick.

‘I feel like Pablo when I’m workin’ on my shoes / I feel like Pablo when I see me on the news / I feel like Pablo when I’m workin’ on my house,’ Kanye chants.

The rapper, Kanye West took to his twitter page on 25 Jan to announce that he was finished with his new album, ‘Swish’ and called it the best album of all time and he shared the all 10 tracks in a handwritten note on Twitter.

In his signature, blustery style, the rapper gushed confidence about the album, tweeting, “So happy to be finished with the best album of all time.”

Collaborations on the new album include guest appearances by Kendrick Lamar, Ty Dolla $ign, Sia and Vic Mensa.

With Kanye West revealed the tracklisting for his upcoming album Swish, it looks like he might have more surprises in store before dropping what he calls “the best album of all time” on February 11: According to Big Boy of Los Angeles radio station Real 92.3, West and Chance the Rapper are collaborating on new material.

“Good Friday is running a lil late,” reads part of the caption for an Instagram photo of himself and West at the studio (one that Chance purportedly took). “They’re creating something from scratch in here.” To stoke the hype further, the photo, which prominently features West’s tracklisting, is tagged, “#itscoming.”
