At least one Kanye West fan is willing to spend millions on a pair of shoes.
Nike released the rapper’s highly anticipated Air Yeezy 2 “Red October” sneakers on Sunday without giving anyone a heads up. The company simply tweeted at 1 p.m. that the kicks were available on its website
The “Red Octobers” sold out in 11 minutes, Vibe reported.

As a result, the latest Air Yeezy 2 sneakers, which retailed for $245, are now going for a pretty penny on eBay.
The current bid for one pair had reached 10 million pounds (nearly $16.4 million) by Monday afternoon. The shoes, a UK men’s size 8, had 84 bids.[/full]

Other eBay sellers are auctioning off the shoes for anywhere from $2,000 to $12,300.
