The Vampire Diaries star was left red-faced after realising the dress she wore to the MTV Movie Awards was donned by Beyonce 13 years ago.
The actress, who plays Bonnie Bennett in the hit show, took to Twitter to say she had no idea the Docle & Gabbana creation had already been worn by the Crazy In Love singer.
When she arrived at the glitzy ceremony, some fans couldn’t get enough of her dress, while more eagle-eyed fashion admirers couldn’t help but notice its familiartiy.
It turns out former Destiny’s Child Beyonce wore the dress back in 2003. Beyonce wore the dress on July 17, 2003 when she was appearing on the Late Show with David Letterman.
When fans pointed out that the 34-year-old singer wore the figure-hugging garment during an appearance on the Late Show With David Letterman in 2003, Kat couldn’t believe it.
“OMG just now seeing the photos! Had no idea we wore the same dress! She slayedddd!” the 26-year-old Vampire Diaries star wrote on Twitter, admitting she might have chosen a different outfit had she known.
“I wouldn’t have worn it duh! #beyoncegetsalltheawards,” she said. “But what if it’s the same dress?! And I own it?!”
