Media Blurb: KFC Mini-Cricket Provincial Festivals
On Saturday, 14 September, KFC and the Easterns Cricket Unions hosted another successful KFC Mini-Cricket at the SuperSport Park. Over 900 girls and boys attended the provincial festival. The future Protea stars had a fun day with the Titans players who were part of the festivities.
Over the last 15 years, KFC’s partnership in cricket has provided an opportunity to create experiences that enrich the youth of South Africa. Through this partnership, KFC continues to use sport as a nation builder, helping build social cohesion and providing a platform for children to be the best version of themselves.
KFC’s involvement in the mini-cricket programme is intentional and purpose-driven. For KFC, the grassroots programme is rooted in levelling the playing field and providing over 127 000 kids with an opportunity to play and get active, no matter their background or gender. KFC is committed to building a better nation and impacting lives beyond the boundary while providing a pipeline for the next generation of professional cricketers, future community leaders and avid fans of the game.
