The president was among 5000 guests at the wedding party held at his multimillion-rand home in Nkandla.

Dlamini is the sister of the president’s fiancee, Sebentile Dlamini.

Seven marquees were erected, and guests feasted on 16 cattle, which were slaughtered for the ceremony.

The celebration was due to be concluded on Sunday, when the bride’s family will present gifts to the groom’s family.

Dlamini arrived with her bridal entourage in Nkandla on Friday night, and on Saturday was clad in her traditional Swazi attire.

Khulubuse was dressed in cowhide and sprinkled a drop of goat’s bile over his bride’s head, which symbolises her welcome to the Zuma family.

In return, Dlamini handed a spear to Khulubuse, a sign that she accepted him as her husband.

The couple met about 10 years ago when Dlamini visited her sister, who was living with the president in Nkandla at the time.

Khulubuse, 44, proposed in 2005 and paid lobolo of 100 head of cattle in October last year. Dlamini, 33, is the daughter of King Mswati’s brother, Prince Phiwokwakhe Dlamini, who died in 2005.
