The Kwaito legend Mandoza passed on to eternal rest on Sunday after losing the health battle to cancer.
According to EWN report, the South African musician lost his battle to cancer on Sunday.
Mandoza’s – whose real name is Mduduzi Tshabalala was in 2015 diagnosed of brain tumor and concerns was raised when the singer was rushed to hospital twice within the space of two months recently.
His family had confirmed he died after being taken to hospital on Sunday morning.
Even though Mandoza was diagnosed of brain tumor, his family remained positive that he was going to survive the illness.
In a recent interview with Drum Magazine, his wife Mpho talked about his illness.
“I’m not even thinking about death. We want to destroy this cancer forever. I know that eventually, we all leave this earth but I say this is not the time yet. He still has a purpose. We still have kids to raise.” She told the magazine
