Kylie Jenner looked very stylish in her multi colour dress and sneakers as the influential teen signed a deal with Puma despite brother-in-law Kanye West saying it will “1000% never happen”.
Earlier this month, Kanye – who collaborates with Adidas on his own line of Yeezy Boost trainers – hit out at Puma for trying to “divide the family”.
He tweeted: “1000% there will never be a Kylie Puma anything. That’s on my family! 1000% Kylie is on Yeezy team!!!
“Puma we gone give you your measly million dollars back!!! Never try to divide the family!!! (sic).”
But the 18-year-old, who was snapped out in New York on Wednesday dressed in a block colour outfit and trainers, has still signed with the brand and will be featured in their spring/summer women’s training campaign which will launch in April.
The brand’s Global Director Adam Petrick confirmed the deal to Just Jared in a statement.
“I am pleased and excited to be able to confirm that PUMA is indeed working with Kylie Jenner. Kylie will be featured in the brand’s spring/summer women’s training campaign launching in April 2016.
“Kylie represents a fresh and exciting new era for fashion and we couldn’t think of a more fitting and influential female to headline this campaign for PUMA.”
After the news broke, Kanye was asked by TMZ about the deal and he said “I’m really happy for her”.
But when they reminded the rapper that he said it was “1000% never going to happen”, he quickly shut them down, firing back: “I already answered that so next question.”
