Former NBA player and Khloe’s ex husband, Lamar Odom was pictured for the first time while in intensive care on an episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians, which aired on Sunday night where Lamar claimed that Kanye saved him through his music.
A photo was displayed showing a shirtless Lamar lying in bed under a sheet, with tubes coming out of his mouth and nose, a wire attached to his chest and a bandage wrapped around his head.
A short video that aired on Sunday night’s episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians showed Kanye performing next to the former NBA’s bedside in front of his laptop.
The video, which was filmed on a mobile phone, had no sound but viewers could see the back of Lamar’s head while he watched Kanye sing.
Another image also showed when he was learning how to walk again.
Kim Kardashian revealed that Lamar had told her: ‘Kanye’s music helped me so much. That’s when I realised I could start thinking again and things were coming back to me and I could start articulating it.’
Kim added: ‘There was a time when Lamar couldn’t really express himself and he couldn’t really talk, but he could hear what we were saying to him.
Kanye really felt we can cure him through music, we can get him to talk. He would go to the hospital and he would rap and sing and I think Lamar started to get his function back and started to talk once he started to listen to a lot of music.’
