The talented musician and artist, Len Muller needs absolutely no introduction. He launched his single and music video, Heildronk earlier in 2020, and fans and radio stations across the nation cannot get enough of it! He and Stella (Christelle Combrink) wrote his next single, TOEVLUG, together and the inspiring sounds and lyrics of this song will leave you with a warm heart and bring hope for the future.
“The song is about the refuge and safe haven which our Heavenly Father would like to provide for us. When times are difficult, or you face many challenges, the song encourages you not to run to temporary relief on earth, but to the One that created your heart, because that is the only place you will find rest and protection. The song is special, because I had the privilege to work and sing with my friend of ten years, Stella. The song also helped me through a lot of difficult times,” says Len about the song.
The music video of TOEVLUG, was produced by Lens Flare Productions and Jannes de Villiers was the director as well as the director op photography. Marike Steenkamp from Common Ground Collective was responsible for the editing and Raldo Mattheüs is the cello player. “Footage of me was shot in my garage which we converted into a studio. Stella’s footage was shot on her farm in Carolina. Some shots were also filmed in the Cape Peninsula,” Len shares about the video.

TOEVLUG will also feature on his upcoming album, which will be released later this year.
Since launching his solo career seven years ago, there has been many highlights in Len’s career. He not only had the opportunity to collaborate with big names like Stef Bos, but also released his own EP with acoustic adaptations of his biggest hits.
In addition to this, he has also had the privilege of performing with the likes of Joshua na die Reën, Kaleidoskoop, Musiek Soos Grond, Francois van Coke, Straatligkinders, Jan Blohm, Bok van Blerk, Chris Chameleon, Jak de Priester, Andriëtte Norman and Dan Patlansky and has also managed to establish himself as a songwriter.

The artist moved to Cape Town at the end of 2019 and enjoys spending time on his surfboard every day. He also started his own agency that manages artists, such as Juan Boucher and Danie du Toit (Reënwolf) and is also busy writing songs for Caroline Grace and Kurt Darren’s new albums. Len is also a member of Musiek Soos Grond, with Joshua na die Reën, Kaleidoskoop, Leon Gropp, Lizandra Winter and Liani Reynolds, which was founded in 2019.
TOEVLUG not only showcases his skills as a songwriter and musician, but also invites you to sing along and to look at your life from a new perspective. “During the storms which we are currently facing with the pandemic, I hope the song will encourage and resonate with all people,” he concludes.
