At the helm of this Festival? None other than Moodymann, the enigmatic Detroit house music pioneer, making his South African debut at this one-of-a-kind festival experience.
One of Detroit’s most influential and elusive artists, Moodymann (Kenny Dixon Jr.) is celebrated for his genre-defying fusion of deep house, soul, funk, and jazz. With a career spanning decades and releases on his own KDJ Records and Mahogani Music, as well as cult labels like Peacefrog and Planet-E, he’s known for crafting raw, emotive, and unapologetically original sounds.
