Johannesburg, 17 March 2025: The 10th eviction live show of the season was nothing short of a spectacle, with high-energy performances from Makhadzi, the host with the most, Smash Afrika, and an unexpected yet entertaining takeover by Lasizwe and the Popcorn and Chill podcast crew, who had the audience laughing.
With just a few days left until the grand finale, the competition reached fever pitch as three housemates saw their journey come to an end, leaving the official Top 5. Abobo was the first housemate to be evicted from Biggie’s house, followed by Siphesihle and Mshini.
Abobo reflected on his journey in the house with a mix of pride and disbelief. “I am just proud of myself, to be honest, for making it this far. It was really challenging, it’s not child’s play to be in that house you know, mentally and physically,” he shared. When asked about his next steps, Abobo was clear: “Spend time with my family, my partner, and my baby.”
Smash Afrika acknowledged Siphesihle’s impressive run, and she couldn’t hide her emotions. “I am extremely humbled and so grateful. I didn’t think I would make it this far. I am shocked and obviously sad to leave, but you know, I’m shocked I even made it this far Smash, and that’s the truth.” She went on to reveal a personal milestone: “I’m also not leaving empty handed but with R7 200.” Siphesihle concluded.
Struggling to put her emotions into words, Mshini admitted, “You know what, Smash? I am in disbelief – ay, andikholwa! But there is nothing else I can say except that I am grateful for the opportunity to be on the show. I’m about to chop onions, but ay, ngeke ngikhale.”
