TV personality Lorna Maseko has been announced as the host of the anticipated new season of Top Chef South Africa.
Top Billing presenter and judge on SA dancing show ‘So You Think You Can Dance SA’, Maseko has landed yet another juicy gig of hosting the first season of the cooking competition show set to premiere on SABC 3.
“This dynamic presenter of Top Billing fame was absolutely the obvious choice to present the show. Her love for food, her refined palate, and her effortless elegance made her a perfect fit for Top Chef SA,” Urban Brew CEO Trish Taylor said in a statement.
Head judge on Top Chef SA will be Neill Anthony, a well-known TV personality and gastronomic guru who has worked with the likes of Gordon Ramsay. Also sitting at the “Judges’ Table” is Lesego Semenya who made the M&G’s Top 200 Young South Africans list last year.
The show will air from Tuesday, 12 July at 8pm.
