Rymir Satterthwaite — the 21-year-old man who claims to be Jay Z’s love child — has blasted the rapper in a new interview.
In December, the young man filed a lawsuit in an attempt to force Jay Z, Beyoncé’s husband, 45, to take a paternity test, but now Rymir says he and his mother, Wanda, were unable to handle the case — both legally and financially speaking.
“There was a whole lot of running around,” he tells Radar Online. “We didn’t have enough information to push the case, to keep the case going.”
His mother has continually claimed she was romantically involved with the “Holy Grail” rapper in the early ‘90s.
Rymir says he’s not after Jay Z’s money, explaining he just wants answers about his alleged family history, as his mother’s poor health is the result of severe asthma and a weak heart — both of which are genetic conditions.
He says he’s curious about his father’s side of the family, especially if something were to happen to his mother.
The 21-year-old explains, “It is important that I know who my biological father is because of my mom’s health. In the future, you don’t know what can happen.”
While he admits he “gets frustrated” with his situation, he says the case just isn’t his priority at the moment.
“I really try not to think about it and go on with my life — anything could happen, but I still got to live for myself,” he tells Radar.
“At the end of the day, I still gotta work and bring income in for me. I just take one day at a time and plan my life.”
