October is here, and for those of you who haven’t heard – Imperial Road Safety will be bringing its Car Seats for Kids campaign to Gauteng, Tshwane, Mpumalanga, North West and Limpopo for the 5th consecutive year – picking up from the great successes of last year’s Cape Town leg of the campaign, where we managed to collect over 500 car seats.

As leaders in mobility, October is a very important month for us at Imperial Road Safety, as it marks not only Transport Month in South Africa – but an opportune time for us to work together with all South Africans to make a difference and protect our most precious cargo – our children.

Join us in the challenge by digging out your used car seats and donating them to a worthy cause – giving the gift of safety to those in need.

Where can you drop them off?

Jacaranda FM is our media partner for the campaign so simply listen out for our weekly drop off locations on the station or see the list below.

East Rand Mall: Monday, 10 October
Hillcrest Boulevard: Tuesday, 11 October
Hillfox Mall: Wednesday, 12 October
Kolonnade Retail Park – Pretoria North: Thursday, 13 October
Central Square at Menlyn Maine: Friday, 14 October
Cradlestone Mall: Monday, 17 October
East Rand Mall: Tuesday, 18 October
Broad Acres Mall: Wednesday, 19 October
Nelspruit Crossing: Thursday, 20 October
Central Square at Menlyn Maine: Friday, 21 October

This year, we have again partnered with leading automotive brands within our group; Renault, KIA and Hyundai, to give the public easily accessible drop off points for their car seats from the 01 – 31 October 2016. Our logistics partner – Imperial Truck Rental – will also be on hand to assist us with the collection and storage of the donated car seats we receive from the public – before the big handout on the 2nd of November 2016.

All seats will be refurbished, cleaned and safety checked before they are given to those families that are in need of a seat but are unable to afford a new one.

So go on – be part of the change in road safety this Transport Month, and do your bit to save a child’s life.

Yours sincerely,
Imperial Road Safety
