Hugo Urgell “Asobitai” is a DJ and producer. Born in 1998 in Ibiza Island, Spain. He grew up surrounded by electronic music in all aspect educating him and giving him the deepest harmonic sense that has led him to immerse himself in the search for new sound experiences. He is the grandson of Ricardo Urgell, creator of the world’s leading nightlife brand “Pacha”
Today he is at an unbeatable moment in his career, with enough time to put into this project the most reflective technical and musical means acquired. The sound of Asobitai gives the real feeling that the music is alive, due to the fluidity of its composition
It’s a deep sound, full of unique melodic sound nuances has made Asobitai share the DJ Booth with artists like Âme (live), Damian Lazarus, Seth Troxler, Maceo Plex, Rampa, &Me, Petar Dundov, Agents of Time, Karmon, Manuel Tur, Clavis, Amberoom, Arbat… in events as: Redsea, Destino Hotel Ibiza, Tox Club Ibiza, Circo Loco (Tulum), Bessonniza (Moscow).
Among his personal projects East ̈Electronic Art & Sound Technologies ̈ (Eastfestival.com) stand out, where Asobitai united technology with nature, creating complex visual and sound structures. Some of the DJ’s that will participate in his project are Paul Kalkbrenner, Stephan Bodzin, AME, Agents of Time and many more. The next events will take place in Uruguay, Peru, Mexico, Vietnam and Russia.
