South Africa, 13 February 2025: Meetings Africa 2025 is set to welcome new African participants to its dynamic trade floor, with Chad, Guinea, and Madagascar making their debut at the continent’s leading business events trade show. Their participation underscores Meetings Africa’s role in connecting African destinations with global and regional buyers, fostering partnerships, and driving investment into the continent’s business events sector.

Taking place from 24 to 26 February 2025 at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, Meetings Africa continues to be the premier platform where African business event professionals connect, collaborate, and create business opportunities. With the addition of Chad, Guinea, and Madagascar, the event expands its reach, offering attendees fresh perspectives and untapped opportunities in the business events landscape of these nations.

Princesse Grovogui, Sales Manager at Noom Hotel Conakry in Guinea, shared her enthusiasm about their debut at the event: “Meetings Africa is a valuable platform for us to showcase Guinea’s potential as a business events destination. As first-time exhibitors, our goal is to connect with key industry stakeholders, gain insights from experienced African destinations, and establish Guinea as an emerging player in the MICE sector. I look forward to engaging with leading professionals, exploring business exchange opportunities, and enhancing our commercial strategies. My hope is to build new connections and create opportunities for future leadership.”

Their participation underscores the event’s mission to drive intra-African collaboration and economic growth through the business events sector. Each of these countries brings unique experiences, venues, and opportunities that will enrich the conversations and engagements at this year’s event.

Chad, Guinea, and Madagascar bring unique tourism and business event offerings to the table. From Chad’s vibrant cultural heritage and emerging conference infrastructure, to Guinea’s rich history and growing meetings and incentives sector, and Madagascar’s breathtaking landscapes and eco-tourism appeal—each country adds a new dimension to Africa’s meetings and business events industry

Meetings Africa 2025 is expected to attract 385 exhibitors from across 27 African countries, as well as hosted buyers and media from around the world. With the inclusion of these three nations, the event strengthens its position as the premier platform for showcasing Africa’s diverse business events industry and fostering collaborations that drive growth and development.
