Miss World Zimbabwe, Emily Kachote, is reportedly refusing to hand over her title and claims she did not pose for any nude photos, Daily Sun reported.
According to the report, Kachote posted Facebook status that she is waiting for her attorney and will be holding a press conference soon.
In a report by nehandaradio.com, the Miss Zimbabwe Trust claims Kachote gave them different reports about the nude pictures.
“She admitted that she might have had a picture taken with or by a gentleman called Prosper. After that she became inconsistent and we continued with our investigations until we reached this decision. On the recording, she says that she was under the influence of alcohol and she doesn’t know what happened thereafter,” the trust said.
“According to your first statement, you said you didn’t know him, but you went home with him, had sex with him and posed nude – this was your first statement. In the second statement – you said you didn’t know him, you asked him to delete the photos and you did not take pictures. Which is which?” Miss Zimbabwe Trust chairperson Mrs Marry Chiwenga reportedly told Kachote.
Kachote was also accused of being a drunkard.
She was asked to step down on 11 June.
