Nicci donated 10% on all pink items to PinkDrive in October, raising over R50 000 for this non-profit organisation that delivers much-needed health services to remote and disadvantaged areas.
The funds raised through the #NicciGivesBack campaign are instrumental in bringing free gender-related cancer screening services to disadvantaged communities around South Africa. Nicci’s support will keep PinkDrive’s mobile units moving and reaching those with limited or no access to medical services.
Early detection can lead to effective treatment and a favourable prognosis. Frequent self-examinations and regular mammograms are critical to the early detection of breast cancer.
As a predominantly female-run business, Nicci’s breast cancer initiative is deeply personal for majority of the company’s team members. By showing its support and making valuable contributions, Nicci is enabling a better tomorrow for the women of today.
