Johannesburg, 21 February 2025: Big Brother has officially turned up the heat this week and it’s all about celebrating everything that makes Mzansi unique! The theme? “No DNA, Just RSA” – a full-on celebration of our diverse cultures, traditions and identities.
The housemates split into four teams and got creative as they took on a cultural challenge that tested their design skills and cultural knowledge. They had to craft a proudly South African outfit that blends modern and traditional styles and then flex their artistic muscles by creating displays like pottery, sculpture and other gems that represent the different cultures of our rainbow nation.
As if the challenge wasn’t tough enough, these patriots went all in risking their entire 100% weekly wager! Against all odds, the team found their rhythm at the last minute and delivered a performance packed with creativity, teamwork, and pure entertainment.
Monday’s nominations shook the housemates as they laid their cards on the table at this season’s face-to-face nominations. Just when they thought it was over, Biggie unleashed the ultimate plot twist. Reigning HoH Tyrone was given the power to make an inferno nomination, adding one more housemate to the list. HoH’s addition sent the total number of nominated housemates soaring from 10 to 11 out of the 16 still in the game.
The nominees are Abobo, Beekay, Jojo, Mandy Hagan, Mata, Melino, Muzi-TheMbuzi, Nate, Nsuku, Swiss and Siphesihle.
