Noah Cyrus, the 18-year-old singer recently started dating the 21-year-old rapper and she’s admitted he is a “completely different person” to what she was expecting before they met.
She said: “You hear about this person so much before you actually meet them and get to know them. So to hear about Lil Xan and what he’s about, you feel like you know someone and you don’t.
It’s like I met a completely different person than what the media thinks…He’s a little teddy bear.”
And Xan insisted he isn’t anything like the image most people have of rappers.
Speaking in a joint interview with People Now as they walked the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards at Radio City Music Hall in New York on Monday (20.08.18), he added: “She told me she thought I would be so different.
I’m like the nicest guy. I’m humble. I don’t act like a rapper. “Noah agreed: “No he doesn’t.”
The pair made their first public appearance as a couple just hours after they released a musical collaboration together, and Noah is very excited about the track, which is called ‘Live or Die’.
She gushed: “We just put out a record last night called ‘Live or Die’. [I’m] the biggest Lil Xan fan girl ever. “It’s just cool to have a song out with him.”
Noah recently revealed she met the Soundcloud rapper after he “slid into” her private messages on her social media accounts.
She explained: “Xan slid into the DMs. It works people.
Actually, it didn’t work. “He DMed me like in February and I didn’t see it for months and then I saw that he was following me and I was like, ‘Lil Xan, cool, he’s following me. I’ll follow him back.’ And then I saw his DM and we’re just hanging out making music.”
