The list for the nominees of the 2016 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) was released yesterday at the Protea Hotel, Ikeja – Lagos, Nigeria.
The “Africa Oscar” nominee list looks really exciting with countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, Burkina Faso, South Africa, Morocco, Uganda, among others, all featured. There are also nominees from USA, Canada and the UK.
The 2016 AMAA will be held on Saturday 11th June 2016 in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State – Nigeria.
This will be the 12th AMAA awards ceremony to be held and will recognize the work of directors, actors, and writers in the Africa movie industry.
