Hyon Yong Chol was charged with treason after nodding off during an event, and was executed by a firing squad using anti-aircraft guns.
North Korea’s defence chief has been brutally executed because he fell asleep at a military event, intelligence officials have confirmed.
The dictatorship’s defence minister Hyon Yong Chol was accused of showing ‘disrespect’ to the evil regime’s leader Kim Jong-Un, and was charged with treason.
It is understood that hundreds of state officials watched his execution, carried out last month by a firing squad using anti-aircraft weapons.
The information was retrieved from the secretive regime by South Korea’s National Intelligence Service, which understands that 15 senior North Korean officials were executed in April for questioning Kim Jong-Un’s authority.
