Now that the festive season is over, everyone is packing away their sweet tooth… However, I know that some of my dessert lovers agree that dessert is for any day, every day, all year!! I requested our favorite chef to send us a quick and easy to make treat that we can add to our list of delights.
Oreo and Mint mini Trifle Dessert
Makes 8 to 10 servings
Ingredients
172g Chocolate Oreo biscuits
172g Original Oreo Biscuits
150ml chocolate mousse
150ml chocolate mousse
Mint chocolate flakes
Instructions
You will need mini glasses
Crush half of the chocolate an, leaving some few whole ones for garnish
Into the glass, add the crushed biscuits as a base, followed by 2 to 3 teaspoons of caramel mousse, then add the same amount of chocolate mousse. Top with another layer of crushed biscuits, mint chocolate flakes. Garnish with whole Oreo biscuits and a mint leaf
Recipe note, for a different taste; substitute the chocolate mousse with vanilla or cinnamon yoghurt
