Vezamafa Primary School in Claremont who educates 196 learners was visited by members of SA Corporate Real Estate Limited Pine Walk Centre together with African Bank and Bata staff, where they donated school shoes, jerseys and food parcels for the kids and their families. Bata also provided each child with a tekkie design set.

Upon arrival, the school of underprivileged learners were treated to meals and snacks for the little ones, which left every face with a smile.  All parties were delighted to share the day with the children and to be able to make a small difference in their lives.

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world, according to respected statesman, Nelson Mandela. In the spirit of a man who took humanitarianism and transformation to a whole new level globally and in celebration of Mandela Day today (July 18th), Pine Walk Centre adopted the SOS Education Campaign – which stands for Support our Schools – in an attempt to help improve the quality of education in the country, with their main focus is specifically on their community. In doing so, they aim to provide hope to future generations.
