Oscar Pistorius is apparently so paranoid that he will be poisoned at the Kgosi Mampuru prison that he now only lives off tinned food.
Oscar Pistorius reportedly only live on tinned food such as chakalaka, a spicy vegetable dish from the prison tuckshop because he dread been poisoned. According to You magazine, Pistorius has lost a considerable amount of weight resulting in his prosthetic limbs no longer fitting him properly.
The weekly magazine reports that several independent sources have confirmed Pistorius’ changed diet, saying that he is paranoid and wary of eating cooked prison meals, fearing that it has been poisoned.
It has also been said Pistorius enjoys some sort of VIP status in jail, as he does not mingle with the other inmates and is cordoned off in a private cell, with an inmate describing it as a ‘batchelor flat.’
Pistorius is said to have become close friends with Radovan Krecjir who is currently awaiting trial. The two apparently share food.
