Be your own icon in reflections pod in Sandton
Shoppers invited to create Instagrammable moments and win R 10 000 shopping spree
Johannesburg, 7 July 2022: As an extension of its popular Iconic 22 campaign, Sandton City has unveiled a reflections pod that invites shoppers to be their own icons and create exquisite, instagrammable photos and videos. The Be Your Own Icon pod is situated in the Protea Court, near Naked Coffee and is all that those social media dreams are made of.
Combining a multitude of mirrors, glass, experiential lighting and more, the immersive space infuses art and creativity and invites the imagination to run wild. To use the pod, simply place your mobile phone in the selfie arm, activate your preferred camera mode (such as video, slow-motion, panorama etc), be creative, strike a pose and show your iconic self. Don’t forget to save!
Shoppers who share their photos or videos on social media stand in line to win a R 10 000 Sandton City shopping voucher. Simply tag @SandtonCityMall and use the hashtag #BeYourOwnIcon on Instagram before 20 July 2022, to enter. The reflections pod is open in line with the centre’s trading hours, and there is no cost to enter or use the dreamlike space.
