Rihanna Shines at Her First-Ever Diamond Ball 2014…….
The Inaugural Diamond Ball presented by Rihanna and The Clara Lionel Foundation at The Vineyard in Beverly Hills, California.
The Barbadian-born beauty founded her organisation, which she said is ”one of the greatest benefits of my job,” in 2012 and named it after her grandparents, Clara and Lionel Braithwaite.
She established the Clara Braithwaite Centre for Oncology and Nuclear Medicine in Bridgetown, Barbados, after donating $1.75 million to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital following the death of her grandmother from cancer in 2012. She is also hoping to help raise $2.4 million to improve the centre and purchase additional radiotherapy equipment.
