Before the unveiling of “Promises,” Gee Prime – real name Gontse Chauke – enriched his discography with a variety of singles, each a unique exploration. From the debut solo “A re Deitane” to the heart-warming project “Tsa Ko Spain,” where a Spanish guitar meets Amapiano, and the reflective “A Matter of Time” inspired by deep house music, each piece is a testament to the artist’s willingness to experiment and continuously evolve.

Continuing my explorative journey, ‘A Matter of Time’ was released, a single that nods to my deep appreciation for deep house music. Each of these singles not only marks a step in my artistic journey but also showcases my willingness to experiment and evolve within the vast landscape of music”
Drawing his musical palette from a diverse array of artists, from classic R&B to contemporary pop and hip-hop, the Midrand-based artist is influenced by the storytelling of Robert Glasper, Musiq Soulchild, Gregory Porter and the innovation of Kanye West of whom he one day aspires to collaborate with; as these are artists who share a vision for pushing musical boundaries.
