Rocking The no makeup, makeup look

Must read

I know some ladies just do not like makeup, but they also do not want to look too unclad with untamed brows and some of their skin discolouration out for the world to see. There is an awesome technique that can help you still look Al Naturel, with a little touch here and there of some basic paraphernalia.

I found an awesome tutorial as well that will guide you a bit on what you need to do by Lizzieloves, she also does a quick wig styling that takes the whole No makeup look to a new level.

Below are some of the startup items you will need and step by step guide, plus a tutorial for you to visually see what the results should look like.

What you need:
1. Mascara
2. Concealer
3. Blush
4. Brow gel
5. Lip liner
6. Lip stick (nude colour)

Steps to follow

1. Follow basic skin cleansing regime

Cleanse tone and moisturise, just so your skin has a natural glow and looks healthy because you won’t be using any foundation to cover up. (you can look at one of our cleansing regime articles to get all the necessary steps).  http://adornedbeyond.com/facial-cleansing-routine-reminder/

2. Moisturise your lips

Ensure that your lips are well moisturised before applying any lipstick on, especially any matte lipstick, we know how tricky that can be.

3. Fix your brows

You can start by working on your brows with whichever brow kit you love and one that works well for you. We have an article with a tutorial on getting your brows right, which you can also view to assist you with getting your brows to fleek.

4. Conceal some of the discoloration

Some of us have dark marks /circles underneath our eyelids, around our lips and some of us have a slight moustache. Concealing a bit here and there will help give you a clear skin finish.

5. Fix your eyelashes

You don’t need much Mascara but just a bit to wake your eyes up.

6. Glam up your lips

Some of us don’t understand why we should use lip liner, but Lip liner is to lipstick what primer is to the foundation or a base coat is to nail polish—it’s not crucial, but it does make your lipstick look better and last longer. If you are going to go matte on your lips, we have an application guide (you can check out one of our articles to help you) ) http://adornedbeyond.com/matte-look-weekend/
