Royal Palm opens its doors to business travellers!

The Royal Palm, the upscale apartment-style hotel located on Palm Boulevard, New Town Centre on Umhlanga Ridge, is welcoming business travelers in line with the government’s scaled-down level 3 lockdown regulations.

“The last few months have been challenging. However, we are looking forward to welcoming back our business travellers as we have missed all of our guests. Despite the fact that a number of restrictions on travelers remain in place, we hope that we can continue to create lasting experiences when we welcome everyone back,” said Royal Palm Hotel General Manager, James Theunissen.

The Royal Palm has 94 luxury apartments, including 14 penthouses, 60 Junior Suites and 10 luxurious studio apartments.

Although the hotel’s state-of-the-art conference facility remains shut and its well-known culinary offering is also on hold for the time being, James Theunissen is confident that business travellers can look forward to a comfortable stay.

Coffee making facilities are in place and guests can look out for a delicious continental breakfast that will be delivered to their doors each morning. Although some services – including turn downs ahead of bedtime – have been cancelled in the interests of social distancing, guests can have the peace of mind that management has their best interests at heart.

All necessary precautions are in place with rooms having been deep cleaned and sanitized in anticipation of guests’ return. Room service is fully operational and the Royal Palm Hotel team will do everything possible to meet travellers’ needs.
