SA celebrate the iconic singer Black Coffee for bringing to SA the first BET award.
Minister of Arts and Culture, Nathi Mthethwa, hosted a gala dinner in honor of DJ Black Coffee alongside some of the entertainment industry biggest names and friends in Durban on Monday.
The dinner was co-hosted by Oskido, DJ Fresh, Christos,Greg Maloka and Vinny Da Vinci as part of the Southern African Music Conference.
Black Coffee, who took home the BET award for Best International Act – Africa, was humbled by the amazing gesture, took to instagram to thank his friends.
“Got so much love for my brothers for hosting a gala dinner for me tonight at Zimbali with the Minister of Arts & Culture, the mayor of KwaDukuza and other dignitaries. Thank you for having my back from day 1,” Black Coffee said.
The evening was attended by DJ Fresh, Oskido, Malusi Gigaba, Zakes Bantwini and others.
