A South African woman was arrested in the UK on Wednesday in connection with the deaths of her three children.
[full]Eyewitness News reports that Tanja Clarence was taken in for questioning after spending time in hospital for minor injuries.
On Tuesday night, police were called to the family’s home where they found the bodies of three-year-old twin boys, Ben and Max, and their four-year-old sister Olivia.
Clarence’s husband Gary was away in South Africa with their eldest daughter. He has since returned to London.
According to the report, the three children all suffered from life-limiting genetic disorders and needed 24-hour care. Their mother was their main caretaker.
It is not yet known how the children were killed, while police said they are not looking for anybody else connected with the killings and continue to question the mother.[/full]
