Samkelo Ndlovu got tongues wagging after the Rhythms city actress shared a raunchy underwater video on Tuesday which caused quite a stir on social media. The video which showed Samkelo underwater busy caressing herself got lots of love on one side and quite a number of hate on the other, tagging the actress as an “attention seeker.”
Samkelo who is not here for hate, released a social media statement in response to haters.
“Me reading 4% of the comments from my raunchy underwater video. It’s 2016 and people still think we care. They say I’m doing it to gain popularity. What a funny thing. Your favourite IT girl hasn’t had as much screen time as i have. Across the continent. Between 4-7 million viewers daily for the past 8 years. Never a day without being on that screen. How much more popular can one human get or want to be. Chauvinists who objectify women when it suits them then call women out when we embrace our own bodies can join that other lady with validation issues who called you a monkey in hell. hahahaha “popular” imagine!!! Stay close to the screen so you can kiss me,” Samkelo initially wrote on Instagram.
