THE SOIRÉE SETS THE TONE FOR SUMMER

The Soirée by Stella Artois featured all-star music line-up, art, and food to a full house

A sold-out crowd turned out for ‘The Soirée’, at Toadbury Hall Hotel, Johannesburg, on Sunday, with eventgoers dressed for the occasion setting the mood for the festive season and holidays ahead.

Also seen at The Soirée were musician J’Something and his wife, Coco Fonseca, as well as award-winning artist-designer, Keneilwe Mothoa and her partner Lubabalo Mxalisa.

Eventgoers to The Soirée by Stella Artois – the second edition of the exciting new music, food, and art event – danced to an eclectic, all-star music line-up with a distinctive Afro-soul leaning, including celebrated SAMA award-winning artists Samthing Soweto and Bongeziwe Mabandla, Langa Mavuso, Mpho Sebina, Lamiez Holworthy and DJs Kenzhero, Miss Brown, Justin Chalice, and Sheldon Sham.

A live art installation from visual artist Nene Maghlangu thrilled eventgoers while a variety of artisanal food experiences – including Frites Artois and complimentary oysters – were set on Toadbury Hall’s mature trees and expansive country lawns.

“Toadbury Hall was the perfect setting to bring people together for The Soirée which is fast becoming an event where South Africans can slow down, connect with each other, and share the enjoyment of great music, food, and art. That’s what The Life Artois is all about and this edition of The Soirée was a great start to the holidays,” says Estee Burger, Marketing Manager, Stella Artois.
