Scandal Actress Masasa has joined other prominent South African celebrities to launch a campaign in a bid to speak against and end wildlife crime.
The Poaching Steals From Us All campaign features well-known personalities DJ Fresh, Springbok rugby player Tendai “The Beast” Mtawarira, comedian Marc Lottering, actress Masasa Mbangeni, DJ Poppy Ntshongwana, Super Rugby players Siya Kolisi, Scarra Ntubeni and Joe Pietersen and model-entrepreneur Maps Maponyane.
Many of them went into the bush to see wild rhinos for the first time as part of the campaign. WildAid’s main focus was on reducing the demand for wildlife products.

The Poaching Steals From Us All campaign has been active in Tanzania and Kenya on ivory. While previous rhino campaigns have focused on fundraising, WildAid states clearly they want people’s voices, not their money.
The campaign appeals to all South Africans to support conservation and to unite to urge the government to solve the crisis. Its primary aim is to create opportunities for South Africans of all races to engage their leaders on wildlife crime.
